Because the boards ride insanely good and its still (or again) privately owned. The people working in it always had a good heart, and as far i can judge it , that spark has been given on to the younger generation leading the company now.
What is your favorite thing about snowboarding?
It is the glimpse of eternity you can experience ,that then changes you're view on everyday life challenges. Snowboarding manages to give me the needed distance to challenges, I've otherwise felt stuck in. I don't even think its the hedonistic part I'm most stoked on, sometimes snowboarding allows me to see the deeper meaning of thing, which I'm trying to portray in my art. I feel like that it's not my rational or biological mind that is controlling my feet, it is something else that takes over, which is me also.
